Red Dragonfly - LoveLife Rock

THIS ITEM HAS SOLD! In Japan, dragonflies bring good fortune. The dragonfly often appears in haiku poetry, representing strength and happiness. The RED dragonfly is thought of as very sacred offering a symbol of courage, strength and happiness. American Indians believe red dragonflies can “bring a time of rejuvenation after a long period of trials and hardship. I was moved to paint a red dragonfly rock after not one...but THREE flew over to me and settled next to my feet.  I actually have pictures (above) of 1 of the 3 red dragonflies that landed beside me that day. It was a magical and very special moment to me and this rock reflects the gift that was given to me that morning. This delicate rock is my blessing to you. It is handpainted with 3 layers of acrylic paint and sealed with a matte varnish. This rock measures approximately 2.5"x 3".
